Brief About The Project:

With the aim of Integrating the abandoned “archaeological Tell” remains (Downtown-Beirut) and Reconciling Lebanon with its own artistic heritage currently lacking lots of exposure , A-RT-LLEGORY- an experiential art museum - uses Allegory and story-telling to highlight the story of art in Lebanon (18th c - now) , fragmenting it into signs left for the visitors to interpret. It proposes a series of “Pavilleries” (“Pavi” --“Pavilion”+ “llery” -- “Gallery”) inspired by the most influential art movement’s philosophies that left deep impacts on the art world and on the work of Lebanese artists in particular, generating experiential and exhibiting spaces.
