Brief About The Project:

1,200 of 1,800 km2 of the Golan Heights is occupied by Israel, but the airspace is imbued with 500 million migratory birds affected by global warming, hunting, and bird strikes costing the Israeli Air Force more lives and money than the resistance. A symbol of peace and freedom, these birds become allies to intervene on unreachable grounds through: the Top-Down, a design methodology that locates sites to form an ecological domain to survey and aid migratory and resident birds, and the Bottom-Up, a building typology to cater for each site’s specific needs, ultimately creating an eco-activism.
