Brief About The Project:
This project combines both the urban renovation of a problematic area in Amman, Jordan and the reuse of a building which was once a cultural hub located in the downtown.
Al Balad theatre is an artistic and community space established by renovating an old cinema house built in the 1940's. Lately the owner of the building had evacuated the team to convert the building use for his own financial benefits.
Al balad theatre diegesis means a narrator for the story of this building. The architectural implementation using narrative architecture when we could think of buildings as a space of stories.
