A public space doesn’t need to be constructed,"It just needs to be found"
I argue through the project autonomous commons that the public space has always been there; it exists already within the fabric of our built environment, The fact that people are already constructing its events. It's a conception of a public space, situated among a network of the most three symbolically charged buildings in Amman.This Project looks into existing patterns of appropriations of alternative public space as the indication of its necessity. The sidewalk and street are employed by the users as such, due to the lack of provision of accommodation for their daily encounters, and any resulting social activity.
