Brief About The Project:
The riverfront project of AL Qanater Al Khayreyah Cultural Hub in Egypt aims to create spaces where people can enjoy nature in an interesting and ethical way, while having a deeper understanding of the surrounding heritage and its progression. Due to its unique location, in the Nile delta, the historic gardens and and heritage attract a large number of visitors which give it potential to become a space of positive engagement, where people could learn about the heritage and environment.
The project aims to become a starting point of a new dialogue between heritage, nature and the public. A dialogue which can be used to tackle contemporary issues and become a platform of engagement.
