This site was announced by the UNESCO in 2007 as one of the historical and archaeological sites in danger because the area is not secure and there are disputation by several forces inside Iraq. The site contains traces dating back to the Abbasid period on the banks of the eastern side of the Tigris River are The Great Mosque of Samarra, The Palace of Caliph and Al Ashiq Palace that is located on the west side of the river.Units were needed to serve as a break for people during this long distance.Units were needed to serve as a break for people during this long distance.The units were placed in these locations.These units were presented in a way that makes them unique.
