Brief About The Project:

The design proposes subterranean structures hosting the last community of fishermen remaining on the land of Sidon, first in the book of genesis. It was founded by Noah’s great-grandson Sidon the fisherman. Since then, man and his creations accumulated, forming a current sociopolitical, environmental saturation. A reverse process reaching genesis is proposed to survive pollution, scarce fish, and sea level rise. Architecture becomes a loss of matter rather than vertical accumulations and horizontal sprawls.
The underground city is created from matter of previous civilizations while nature invades the Earth’s surface. The city then erupts repopulating the land; establishing the lifecycle.
