Brief About The Project:
This project, which is located in the Bahriyyah Oasis in Egypt, addresses the country’s threatened vernacular architectural heritage. The project aims at bridging the gap between this heritage and contemporary architectural approaches through the design of in-fills and additions to existing structures in the oasis.
يتناول هذا المشروع الذي يقع في واحة بحرية في مصر تراث مصر المعماري التقليدي والمهدد. ويهدف المشروع إلى سد الفجوة بين هذا التراث وبين النهج المعماري المعاصر من خلال تصميم أبنية تقع ضمن نسيج هذا التراث وأيضاً تصميم إضافات للأبنية القائمة في الواحة.
