Brief About The Project:

Located in the heart of an informal area in Cairo, Egypt, a new concept of transportation hub offers the community of Kitkat a destination rather than a transit and a public living room for their continuously changing activities. Built in a compacted environment, the design provides green breathing spaces by being a “vertical park”, inspired by the scaffolding structure language enabling flexibility. This language is merged with a curvilinear form attracting the community to the waterfront. The complex is attached to a significant existing mosque which creates an overall intimate local space.
